Mary Niles Maack (1945-2023) was a beloved librarian, scholar, teacher, mentor, and colleague. Her legacy was honored in Library Trends 72 (3), Feminist and Global Perspectives on an Evolving Profession. 

Library Trends hosted a webinar that honored the legacy of Mary through presentations by authors whose new research built upon Maack’s impressive scholarship. Stephen and Johnathan Maack—Mary's husband and son, respectively—were also present and spoke about Mary's life and career.
